St Michael’s Parish Dinner, in conjunction with our Parish Feast. All Parishioners are invited to gather at the Nowra Golf Club, Wednesday 26th September, 6:30pm for 7:00pm to celebrate our Parish Feast Day. Cost $33pp, includes main meal and dessert. Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking. For catering purposes, payment should be made to the Parish Office, when booking. Bookings and payments need to be finalised by 10th Sept

SVdP Door Knock Appeal – will be held over the next 2 weekends - Sat/Sun 17th & 18th Aug and Sat/Sun 25th & 26th Aug. We are looking for volunteers to assist at shopping centres and door knocking. Creating a Child-Safe Church from within: A leading German theologian and psychologist will present on Friday 31st August (mainly for those working with children) and Saturday 1st September (open to all) in Campbelltown Catholic Club. For more info or to register go to

In the near future the driveway at Bomaderry Church will be concreted, as it has badly eroded over the years. At St Michael’s the two steps, from the footpath to the Church grounds, at North Street entrance will be removed and replaced with a ramp. 

Are you noticing the needs of your fellow parishioners & neighbours in times of sickness or other household emergencies? Remember the Parish Samaritan Group has volunteers happy to provide a meal. Pray As You Go and Sacred Space are free Apps, available to download from iTunes and Google Play. You can listen in the car, out walking or any time of day. It offers a reflection on the daily Scripture reading and a reflective review (examen) of your day before you go to sleep.

St Michael’s Playgroup - Runs each Monday during the school term from 9:00am–10:30am in foyer of St Michael's School Hall. Parents, grandparents, carers, all welcome! Please bring your child’s snacks and drink. Gold coin donation.

Children’s Liturgy Sundays 9:30am St Michaels - children aged 4 and up gather together with our volunteer teachers to receive God's Word on their own level, in a fun and interactive way.


Let your light Shine! Catechists ensure that children hear of God’s love for them. Can you give 1 hour of your time per week to teach or help out in a classroom? Craft-Tea Characters - Clean and useable knitting, crocheting, sewing and general craft materials are gratefully accepted. Don’t forget you are welcome to join us on a Wednesday 9:30ish-12:00ish. Making connections through craft, cuppas and company.

Families in the Diocese of Wollongong are encouraged to utilise these resources at home to share faith with kids.

"The Journey" is a weekly program developed by the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong aired on a growing number of Christian Radio Stations around Australia. Each week, there is a reflection on the Sunday Gospel reading.
