Tuesday mornings at St Michael's Catholic Church, Nowra

All are welcome to share in morning tea following 8:15am Mass every Tuesday.
All are welcome to come pray the Rosary together every Tuesday at 9:30am in St Michael's Catholic Church.


Holy Hour Friday mornings at St Michael's Catholic Church, Nowra 

Exposition begins at 10:30am, followed by Rosary and quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Benediction just prior to the 11:30am Mass. All welcome.


Craft-Tea Characters Wednesdays 9:30am to 12:00pm 

There’s more to it than craft you’ll see; like coffee, laughs, community, conversation and more, if you’ll just walk in through the door. Give it a go and then you’ll know, all you need to do is show.

St Michael’s Playgroup

Monday mornings (during school term) 9:00am – 10:30am in foyer of St Michael's School Hall. Parents, grandparents and carers all welcome! Please bring your child’s snacks & gold coin donation.


Coffee morning Sacred Heart Catholic Church Bomaderry - 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month

A number of Bomaderry Parishioners have commenced visiting the Bomaderry Bowling Club for morning coffee, following 9:30am Mass. Some even stay for lunch. All welcome!

Vincentia Social Group - 1st Friday of the Month

You can enjoy the fun, games and friendship of Vincentia Social Group on the first Friday of each month. The Social Group meets at 6:00pm in the Holy Spirit Parish Hall, Vincentia. All welcome!

Barefoot Bowls - Every 2nd Tuesday

Join fellow Parishioners, every second Tuesday, from 4:30pm at the Bomaderry Bowling Club. The evening is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. There is no need to book, simply meet with the group at the club. Play in bare feet or wear a pair of soft soled shoes and bring $5 for registration. All welcome!

Blokes’ Night Out - 1st Friday of the Month

Blokes' of all ages and interests, come together to enjoy a meal, watch the football or play pool at the Bomaderry Bowling Club from 6:30pm. All Blokes' welcome!

Sunday Roast- 4th Sunday of the Month

Come with your family, a friend or on your own and meet up with fellow Parishioners to enjoy a roast dinner in great company. North Nowra Tavern from 12 noon. (Cost $12)


LMC Soup Kitchen

The LMC Soup Kitchen is in need of some fresh veggies on a Friday. Do you, or someone you know, have any excess in your gardens that you are willing to donate?

Monday 16th October - Mass at Jim DaSilva Farm at 12:30pm. All welcome!

Tuesday 17th October - Anointing Mass – Feast of St Luke - will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church Berry with Mass at 10:30am (day before the Feast of St Luke). Mass will be followed by lunch in the Hall. Friday 20th October - Catechist Advent Workshop - 10:00am-12:00pm in Parish Centre. The morning will include a talk on Advent, the curriculum and ideas for creating engaging lessons in term 4. Saturday 21st October - Nowra CWL significant wedding anniversary Mass at 10:00am followed by a light luncheon in the Parish Centre. 

Saturday 21st October - Parish Beach Day – The Culburra Community Group invites all Parishioners to join them for an afternoon of games, swimming & a sausage sizzle on Sat 21st Oct from 3:00pm Tilbury Cove Culburra Beach. BYO drinks and seating. Feel free to bring a friend along for the fun!

Join with men from 16 to 70+ to hear James Parker tell the story of how the Holy Spirit has transformed his life, from brokenness, to knowing God as one who invites us into a personal relationship with him. Events in the Diocese


Friday 27th to Sunday 29th October - Ageing and Awakening: God’s Surprising Gifts! Weekend Retreat. The one who looks outward dreams; the one who looks inward awakens. Time and age are the gifts of the second half of life.  As the worn oak wine barrel produces mellow wine so the second half of life allows us time to notice and reflect on the richness of our experience of life – awakening us to God’s surprising gifts on our journey. These days, with Sr Kerin sgs, offer opportunity for input sessions, reflection and personal prayer as well as communal prayer with the Benedictine nuns at the Abbey.  Printed material will be provided for further reflection. Benedictine Abbey 695 Mountain Road, Jamberoo TIME: 9.00 a.m. commencing with Eucharist and concluding with Vespers at 5.00 p.m. on the 29th. Saturday 28th October - Organ Recital & Workshops - St Francis Xavier Cathedral 10:30am. Organ Teacher, Godelieve Ghavalas, will conduct a workshop on organ playing to show how pianists can easily develop the skills to readily play the new Allen digital pipe organs. At 2:00pm, come and hear a recital by Allen Organ Scholarship recipient Cassandra Cordero at the Cathedral.

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th November - Penrose Park “Come And See” Praise And Prayer Night - Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy, Penrose Park Rego 1-3pm, 4th No. Cost: $30 includes Dinner & Breakfast. Faith Circles Weekly Resource for Small Groups. Small faith-sharing groups are a fun way to build relationships. They provide a place where each person can grow in their faith journey. They focus on the ways in which the Spirit is calling us to live a more active, loving and joyful relationship with God, our Church and our World. Weekly free small group resource called Faith Circles is available based on the Sunday Gospels with two reflections (including one by Pope Francis) as well as accompanying questions and prayer points. It is available to download at www.faithcircles.dow.org.au or have it sent to you each month via email subscription.
