All are welcome to share in morning tea following 8:15am Mass every Tuesday.

Holy Hour Friday mornings at St Michael's Catholic Church, Nowra
Exposition begins at 10:30am, followed by Rosary and quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Benediction just prior to the 11:30am Mass. All welcome.
Craft-Tea Characters Wednesdays 9:30am to 12:00pm
There’s more to it than craft you’ll see; like coffee, laughs, community, conversation and more, if you’ll just walk in through the door. Give it a go and then you’ll know, all you need to do is show.

Coffee morning Sacred Heart Catholic Church Bomaderry - 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month
A number of Bomaderry Parishioners have commenced visiting the Bomaderry Bowling Club for morning coffee, following 9:30am Mass. Some even stay for lunch. All welcome!

You can enjoy the fun, games and frienship of Vincentia Social Group on the first Friday of each month. The Social Group meets at 6:00pm in the Holy Spirit Parish Hall, Vincentia. All welcome!

Barefoot Bowls - Every 2nd Tuesday
Join fellow Parishioners, every second Tuesday, from 4:00pm at the Bomaderry Bowling Club. The evening is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. There is no need to book, simply meet with the group at the club. Play in bare feet or wear a pair of soft soled shoes and bring $5 for registration. All welcome!

Monday 21st August 9:30am to 2:30pm - Level 3 Catechist Diploma Course. Communion: Eucharist, Source and Summit. This course will run in the Parish Centre and is open to all interested parishioners. Weekends 19th & 20th August and 26th & 27th August - St Vincent de Paul Society Doorknock Appeal. We need are people to knock on doors and sit at shopping centres. Wednesday 23rd August - Marriage: What’s it all about? Fr Duane will give a talk at 7pm at St Michael’s parish hall. Be assured of a respectful, logical presentation, relevant to anyone of any faith or no faith. He will invite questions, objections and clarifications after his talk. Invite your friends who are open to respectful discussion of this important social issue for our time. All welcome!

Sunday 17th September - The Emmaus Team is hosting a Picnic with a Difference 11:00am in the grounds of St Michael’s School. Everyone is welcome to come along and spend time together as a caring inclusive community. Bring your own food, drink, picnic rugs, chairs and anything else you may need. Saturday 14th October - SVdP Annual Fundraising Dinner. 6:30pm for 7:00pm at the Bomaderry Bowling Club. Join us for a great night, which is always a lot of fun. Proceeds raised from the dinner will be used to support struggling families in the Shoalhaven. Tickets $65. Events in the Diocese
Friday 15th September LIVE Festival 2017. This year the Festival will be expanded to include an expo space where you can discover the many and different ways that you can live out your faith in our Diocese.
Faith Circles Weekly Resource for Small Groups. Small faith-sharing groups are a fun way to build relationships. They provide a place where each person can grow in their faith journey. They focus on the ways in which the Spirit is calling us to live a more active, loving and joyful relationship with God, our Church and our World. Weekly free small group resource called Faith Circles is available based on the Sunday Gospels with two reflections (including one by Pope Francis) as well as accompanying questions and prayer points. Bishops' Social Justice Statement on the Economy. We celebrate Social Justice Sunday on 24th September. This year, the Australian Bishops’ Social Justice Statement is titled: ‘Everyone’s Business: Developing an inclusive and sustainable economy’. The Statement calls for an economy that is founded on justice and offers dignity and inclusion to every person.
