Much work takes place in any parish or church community behind the scenes - people who prepare the weekly bulletin,  help to make decisions about the direction and future of the parish, and make sure that there is enough money to undertake the projects into the future. St Michael’s Parish Finance Committee

Description: Advisory body for the Parish Priest regarding financial and property matters. Weekly money counting.
Meetings: Held quarterly or as required.
Member Details: Members are appointed at the discretion of the Parish Priest. Volunteers undertake money counting.

Parish Pastoral Council 

Description: An authorised and structured body of parishioners, which seeks to promote the involvement of the whole parish in the life of the Church. The Council provides an opportunity for parishioners to make their views and recommendations known on matters relating to the pastoral and material welfare of the parish.
Meetings: Second monthly, with additional meetings called as required.
Member details: The Council consists of ex officio members; regional representation;representation from some existing apostolic ministries; elected members; appointed members. Members are elected and/or appointed for a three year term.
Additional information: The council is consultative / advisory to the Parish Priest.
