Poor Box - did you know that all funds received through the Poor Boxes at church go directly to the SVdP Conferences to aid the needy in your local areas? Even small change is a blessing to those who lack the necessities of life.
Reminder for Catechists: Certificates and gifts for your students, CatechistNET magazines (all labelled) and ideas for Advent are currently available in the Catechist Centre.
Take a Risk and Give the Gift of Faith - In our parish, there is a team of volunteers that take a risk and step out in faith. State Government schools do not provide lessons that teach the basic message about Jesus, our faith and the great adventure that life can be with God. We were all given our gift of faith by someone, someone stepped-up for us so that we would know Jesus. Each week of the school year Catechists present 30-minute lessons using a step-by-step lesson plan that helps Catholic children understand their faith, grow in love and maturity and learn what it means to be Catholic. Take a risk and give the gift of faith. Become a Catechist teacher or helper today! For more information, please call 4423 1712 or ask our parish priest for more information.
Craft-Tea Characters - Clean and useable knitting, crocheting, sewing and general craft materials are gratefully accepted. Don’t forget you are welcome to join us on a Wednesday 9:30ish-12:00ish. Making connections through craft, cuppas and company. Pop in or contact Louise 0438218728.

The home is the heart of the Church. CAtHFAMILY brings you a selection of activities, prayer rituals, crafts and recipes for free from their website www.cathfamily.org. Don't miss CathKids, weekly interactive experience with a two minute animated reflection on the Sunday reading. Families in the Diocese of Wollongong are encouraged to utilise these resources at home to share faith with kids.

In baptism, each one of us is called to share in the ministry of Jesus Christ – to bring good news to the poor and let the oppressed go free (Luke 4:18). We are asked to serve people in need – in our workplace, church or social groups, whether known or unknown to us, on the streets or in the broader community. In solidarity, we must challenge views that condemn them. We work for an economy that prevents exclusion. http://dow.sh/socialjustice2017
