This week

20th August - 20th Sunday In Ordinary Time (Yr A)
O God, let all the nations praise you!

May God still give us his blessing.
O God be gracious an bless us and let your face shed its light upon us.
So will your ways be known upon earth and all nations learn your saving help.
Let the nations be glad and exult for you rule the world with justice.
With fairness you rule the peoples, you guide the nations of earth.
Psalm 66(67):1-2.4.

“To keep marriage as a unique relationship between a woman and a man, vote NO.” This is simply and unequivocally what the Church is advocating Postal Plebiscite on “Same-Sex Marriage”. The Australian Government has announced there will be a postal plebiscite on whether the definition of marriage in the Marriage Act 1961 should be changed to include “same-sex marriage”. Ballot papers will be sent out to households on Tuesday 12th September and all votes must be received back by Tuesday 7th November. If you are not enrolled to vote, or if you need to update your postal address, go to www.aec.gov.au/enrol/ before Thursday 24th August. To keep marriage as a unique relationship between a woman and a man, vote NO.
