Youth Ministry at St Michael's
A Little About the Youth Minister - Catriona (Cat) Nunan
I am a Dapto Girl, and the eldest of three girls. Whilst studying and having a degree in Primary School Education, my passion for many years has been in Youth Ministry. I have been involved in too many things over the years including Antioch, various Parish Youth Groups, being a member of the St Vincent de Paul Society and attending numerous retreats and conferences. The last couple of Years I have worked with the Christian Brothers as part of their Retreat Team running High School Retreats at Mulgoa, near Penrith, whilst also being Youth Minister for my own Parish of St Paul’s Albion Park. This year I have been blessed with a combined position working 3 days a week in St Michael’s Parish and St John’s High School and one day at St Pauls Albion Park and St Joseph’s High School at Albion Park. Whilst Youth Ministry is a challenge it is also a great joy.

Youth Ministry Team
Catriona Nunan is looking at forming a Youth Ministry Team for the Parish. A Youth Ministry Team is a group of individuals including:
- Young People who display leadership qualities - 16-18years
- Young Adults - 19-35years
- Parents and other interested adults
- Grandparents
A Youth Ministry Team aims at providing ideas, support skills and resources that are not achievable by one person. In a Coordination role it aims at making sure that Youth Ministry is alive and active within the Parish.

- 'Break Open' Tuesdays @ Lunchtime at St John the Evangelist High School.

Compass a group of Catholics - single and married aged between around mid 20s to mid 40s - who are seeking God through teaching, prayer, music and community meets 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7.30pm in St Michael's Parish Centre
- Compass Prayer Night
every 2nd Monday night at 7.30pm in St Michael's Church 
Compass Mass
every 1st and 3rd Sunday night @6pm
with dinner together after the first Sunday Mass in a local pub- Adoration and Holy Hour
every third Friday night at 7pm in St Michael's Church
