Pope Francis close

Pope Francis - After multiple bombings at churches in Indonesia left 11 dead & dozens more injured, Pope Francis prayed for the repose of the souls of those who died and asked God to bring an end to hatred and violence. “I am particularly close to the dear people of Indonesia, in a special way to the Christian communities of the city of Surabaya who have been severely hit by the destructive attacks against places of worship.”.

The next Culburra Beach Family Group function will be held as a combined function, joining in the feast day celebration for our Mary Help of Christians Church on Saturday May 26th with the Parish Dinner. Please let Barbara know if you will be attending.
The June function will be organized by Daphne and Pep and they will advise details.

SVdP - in the interests of our responsibilities concerning the stewardship of our planet, we at SVdP are phasing out the use of plastic bags. This has created a dilema as to how we can still provide non-perishable food to those in need who call on our assistance. We are your help by asking you to provide us with re-useable shopping bags in good, clean condition. There are white washing baskets at the back of Nowra, Bomaderry and Berry churches for depositing your unwanted bags. Kind thanks for your continuing assistance.

Alpha: Our parish is hosting Alpha, a series of interactive sessions that freely explores the basics of our Christian faith. If you are able to join a prayer team or help with catering please contact: Frances 0413539370.
